[09/06/2011] Ministry is back with four US shows, new album announced |
|
After the band had confirmed their performance at Wacken Festival to take place in August 2012, Germany, Ministry announced 4 more shows in Denver, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago (all in June 2012) called as Relapse Tour.
One of the reasons for the reunion is that some of the songs Jourgensen and Mike Scaccia wrote for Buck Satan & The 666 Shooters debut album didn't match the idea of a country-orientated band so that they are considered to fill in a new Ministry release. The new line-up includes Al Jourgensen (vocals), Mike Scaccia (guitar), Tommy Victor (guitar), Tony Campos (bass), Aaron Rossi (drums) and John Bechdel (keyboards).
Al called Relapse "the fastest & heaviest in the whole Ministry discography". The album of Buck Satan & The 666 Shooters is announced for 11/11/2011. There is no specific date for Relapse album yet.

[08/07/2011] Ministry to play at Wacken Festival in August 2012, Germany |
|
Ministry along with Scorpions, Hammerfall, Credle of Filth, Amon Amarth and Gamma Ray have been confirmed to play at the Wacken Open Air festival, August 2-4, 2012 in Wacken, Germany.
The latest Ministry your "C-U-LaTour" covered both North America and Europe in 2008 and it was supposed to be the final one.
It seems like FIX: the Ministry Movie documentary as well as the fans demand made Ministry come back, at least on the stage. Al Jourgensen dealt with health problems in 2010, then he sued FIX: the Ministry Movie filmmakers in April 2011 to drop the lawsuit it in July the same year. He's been working on his Buck Satan & 666 Shooters side project debut album with Mike Scaccia as well.
