[12/21/2011] Skrew fundraiser for Adam Grossman has been successful |

A benefit show (12/20/2011) for Adam Grossman turned out successful. Skrew was able to rise $1,000 thanks to donations at the door and raffle tickets.
We all want to thank everybody who donated, came to the show as well as shared/re-tweeted the show announcement through social networks. 100% of the donations goes to Adam to cover his medical treatment after a kidney surgery. There will be a benefit show for Adam Grossman, founder of the thrash metal band Angkor Wat and industrial metal legend Skrew. Adam also played guitar in Ministry (as featured in Spielberg's movie "A.I."). Adam was diagnosed with kidney cancer in autumn of 2011 and had a recent surgery in late November.

[11/24/2011] SMP signs a new album deal with WTII Records |
|
Seattle based, Sounds of Mass Production (SMP), have signed a new record deal with WTII Records, LLC. SMP music is often described as industrial rock influenced with rap and punk.
Next year, SMP will make their WTII Records debut with the release of a (to be titled) full length album. Veteran producer Wade Alin will again produce and mix the album, while Mike Ostrander of the band 64K, has been brought in to assist Bazinet with the programming and writing.
Current WWII roster includes such bands as Acumen Nation, Dessau, Klutae or Stiff Valentine amongst all.

[11/22/2011] The newest Ministry album release date revealed |
|
The legendary industrial metallers Ministry have been working on a new album called Relapse. The record will be released on March 30th, 2012 by 13th Planet Rec. then followed by a series of shows in US and Europe.
There are the same musicians involved into the making of Relapse who worked with Ministry on their last studio album incl. Al Jourgensen, Tommy Victor (Prong), Tony Campos (Soulfly), Aaron Rossi (Prong) and John Bechdel (Fear Factory) except for SIN Quirin* who was replaced by former Ministry guitar player Mike Scaccia.

*SIN established his own new project called The Great Americon along with the musicians of Stayte/Revolting Cocks, Lords of Acid and American Head Charge/Otep. He also joined American Head Charge as the second guitar player in October 2011.
