Darice M. Kannon - DMK - interview (2016)
Find your authentic voice no matter what anyone thinks and build the empire behind you. Also, outline your story. Without a spine to follow, it's possible to quit because you lose your voice and begin to question yourself.

David Arkenstone - interview (2016)
I have received many communications from people who claim to have had spiritual awakenings through my music, so I can say that to some degree, I believe I am a messenger.

Ian Proudfoot (MoMT Records owner) - interview (2009)
I can see the label’s focus swinging more towards experimental electronica with the next few releases, but Industrial rock has always been one of my favourite genres since the day I was blown away by Ministry’s Land of Rape and Honey. If I receive any demos from shit hot industrial rock acts then you will see more bands of the ilk of Audio War and UCNX on MoMT. At the moment the only demos I seem to get are from bad Indie bands and Gothic Metal bands. Two genres of music I can’t stand.

Neil Kernon - interview (2006)
I think that the essence back in the 70s was to simply make music. No-one cared what their contemporaries were doing, no-one looked over their shoulder or took a quick listen to a competitor's new album to get ideas. Everyone did their own thing. As a result there was a very wide variety of cool music around, lots of it still very original even today. These days I think artists tend to want to sound like someone else, which is beyond me.. When I was in bands I always wanted them to have their own style and not be copycats.

Paul Abramson (Van Richter Records) - interview (2010)
I enjoy the old school world sound of analog synths. It is funny but when our bands are here in the States they are desperate to buy up any old piece of analog gear they can get their hands on for their studios. No computer can recreate spot on that sound.

Sean Beavan - interview (2006)
I love mixing because I really like to make a song come to life, and it is fun to come into a project at the end and breathe new life into it. Producing is much more taxing and takes a lot more time but has the joy of empathizing with other musicians and being part of a team collaborating to create something great.

[non-industrial] Ghost Embrace - interview (2015)
As a studio owner I focus on achieving the highest quality results in the least amount of time for my clients. That’s why our motto is "shut up and play" because time is money. Engineers who are experienced and "quick" are essential for clients who don’t have a big budget.

[non-industrial] Gilbert Engle (interview, 2016)
Interview with Gilbert Engle (American musician and painter): I would say it has become much easier to create very high quality works since hundreds of years ago. The potential options are unlimited. As mentioned, the problem is that there are way too many people who want to be artists and musicians. There is just no way to fund everybody.
