[09/30/2010] The Return of Marazene Machine (former Marazene)
From De Los Santos Productions:

Word from the streets of the Windy City and the worldwide web is that October 2010 will herald the long-awaited return of Chicago’s Marazene Machine (formerly Marazene).

The Machine-Metal Mavens, now fully embracing their distinct Electro-Metal Revolutionary tendencies, will hit the studio in the coming weeks to hammer out the final tracking on songs expected to be appear on an as yet untitled new release and have opted to once again self produce.

The band will also be re-teaming up with JEFF VEREB (SMASHING PUMPKINS) for the final mix. Vereb was the mix engineer behind the ‘MachiNation’ album as well as the tracks that appeared on THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS and RECALIBRATED box sets.

The principle songwriting tandem of producers DIETRICH THRALL and NIKK SKUM have largely kept a low profile since the tragic loss of co-founding member KRISTOPHER “KRISTOV” KEMP in early 2009 to a three year battle with colon cancer. In recent months however the members have been dropping hints as to demo progress while putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2007′s critically regarded ‘MachiNation’ album.

[09/19/2010] Stiff Valentine - new album sounds huge
According to the news provided by Chris DeMarcus (aka LoudChris), lead singer of Canadian industrial metal band Stiff Valentine, the new album which they have been working on for over two years now, sounds huge. There's a big concept behind the release and several known musicians have been involved in the process of making music like: LoudChris (ex-Dismantled, vocals, guitars, synths), Craig Jensen (Stiff Valentine, second guitar), Kerry Vink (Unit:187, keyboards), Galen Wailing (Left Spine Down, Stayte, drums), Jason Bazinet (SMP, 16Volt, Chemlab, Front Line Assembly, drums), Eric Powell (16Volt, guest vocals), Kaine Delay (Left Spine Down, guest vocals), Jared Slingerland (Front Line Assembly, guest guitar), Craig Huxtable (Landscape Body Machine, Front Line Assembly, guest keyboards) and Ken Cade (former member of Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra, strings).

The album (no title has been revealed yet) will be produced by Chris Peterson (FLA, Delerium, Decree, Unit 187) and Deathproof.

[09/19/2010] Misery Loves Co vocalist on stage with MMI 10/16/2010 Sweden
From Man.Machine.Industry:

Hope yer weekend have been a good one :)-
My cold have finally given in and now its full focus on rehearsing in for the upcoming shows with Sonic Syndicate and first out is the Arena in Falun, friday 24th sep, and later that same night we do our own show at Klubb Hellmer in the same town.

Next up is Linköping on Oct 7th and after that Rockbaren in Karlstad on the 16th of Oct. (both shows supporting Sonic Syndicate) (gig info at FACEBOOK) and in KARLSTAD my ladies and gents we get a visitor on stage.

Patrik Wirén of the late Grammy winners Misery Loves Co. will make a guest appearance singing the song ALMOST GONE which he co-written with me on our latest album White Trash Devil In a Jesus Christ Pose.

This will be a special performance coz Misery Loves Co was somewhat the band who started it all for MMI exploring the sound of Industrial Metal and it has now been a few years since Patrik stood on stage performing something out of the genre.
We are VERY glad and excited to have Patrik on stage with us for this tune and hope to film it so you can see it as well.
