Bio: Nine Inch Nails (abbreviated as NIИ) is an American band, founded in 1988 by Trent Reznor. As its main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Reznor is the only official member of Nine Inch Nails and remains solely responsible for its direction. Nine Inch Nails has left industrial rock and turned to electronic music since the release of With Teeth album. Nevertheless, both old NIN releases along with newer Reznor's tracks are still a source of inspiration for many independent industrial and non-industrial artists.
Associated acts (selected): Option 30, How to Destroy Angels, 1000 Homo DJs, Marilyn Manson, Exotic Birds, Pigface, 2wo, Gary Numan, Peter Murphy, David Bowie, Machines Of Loving Grace, Prick, Jakalope, NIN/JA, more on Discogs.
