This Chicago based band has been very active industrial metal effort since a few years so with no doubts In Spite is a long awaited album. They’ve been inspired by such cult and interesting bands of that scene like Argyle Park, 16volt, kLaNk, Circle of Dust, Chatterbox, Celldweller, Acumen Nation, Starflyer 59, Crossbreed, Dope or Mushroomhead so they bravely release their new ideas based on jagged guitar riffs and samplers.

In Spite CD contains fourteen studio songs and two live tracks, while the best ones are FriQtion (inlcuded in an slight different version at Hordes of the Elite – GlitchMode’s sampler released in 2006, a label run by Cyanotic band), MasQuarade Ball (given by the band for Fabryka Promo CD #1 given off amongst Machinery clubbers in 2006) and unquestionably Ready To Face, Time To Wake Up and Ultraviolent. ManufraQture has worked out an image of a band touring quite often and having a pretty big fanbase, especially in the USA.
Their sound, especially edgy guitar riffs and groovy bass cause a rise of a blood pressure as well as a body of their mostly aggressive compositions is most often recognizable and typical for ManufraQture. That animated, dashing and intense vibe should be appreciated not only by industrial-metal music fans but also by anyone who needs to release his energies.

I do recommend that album, because it comes from one of the most creative bands on the scene and at the same time from musicians who hear the main industrial rock/metal music idea of sound. It’s not a surprise because the band comes from Chicago, where a cult Wax Trax! label was a provider for music that kind and where the genre still finds its fans and followers. ManufraQture, along with Snow Black, Project .44, Cyanotic or Marazene keep alive the correct industrial rock/metal vibe extended with their own melodic ideas and upgraded technologies. There isnt' a poor song on the album, but I could pin to those 2 live songs due to rather poor quality and a lack of dynamics in comparison to the rest of the CD content.
