Treponem Pal |Roadrunner, 1989|
Silico, The Black Box, Embodiement of Frustration, The Prettiest Star, In-Out, Too Many Humans, Low Man, Soft Mouth Vagina
It's a debut of Treponem Pal. A very balanced music, less industrial more metal compared to the next TP albums. The music reminds me Pitchshifter or Godflesh-like ventures but the individual TP play style appeared already on that album as well. ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz. Aggravation |Roadrunner, 1991|
Rest is a War, What Does It Mean?, Love, Out With No Flag, Fugitive Soul, Sweet Coma, TV Matic, Radioactivity, You Got What You Deserve
TP it's a French band what is easy to catch in their accent and the lyrics which sometimes lack of the correct English grammar. They plat heavy guitar driven music, lots of industrial-metal style as well. Such a music can be found also on several records of Godflesh, Fear Factory or early Pitchshifter, but Treponem Pal included their own style and it's overall a kicking ass record. Excess And Overdrive |Roadrunner, 1993|
Out of Reach, Pushin You Too Far, Excess And Overdrive, For Progress, Crimson Garden, Stoned, Nowhere Land, Blow Me Out, Sometimes, Full Moon, Excess (trance mix)
Distortions, dirty guitar riffs feedback, samples, and a bit of cold and dark atmosphere. That's all what we admire! Don't miss Pushing You Too Far, Crimson Garden, Stoned, Nowhere Land, they are just the examples of awesome tracks! ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz. Higher |Polygram, Mercury Rec, 1997|
Cyberfreak, Renegade, Unchained, The Struggle, Lose Control, Panorama, Freetribe, Funk Me, Sick Train, Belief, Sweet Vibes, Psycho Rising, Funky Town, Excess (trance mix)
Please don't pay attention to the CD artwork. There are the songs which can be played easily at the music parties but they are still guitar driven with that dirty atmosphere typical for industrial rock style of music. Most of time I spent listening to Sick Train (simple, concrete, dynamical), and also to Belief and Unchained. Other than that there are a few bad songs in reggae-ska style (Panorama, The Struggle, Freetribe) which surprised me a lot. There is also a cover version for Funky Town, the top shit from the 70's. Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM) produced the record but seems it wasn't enough to let the band release another album and they quit. ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz.
