Cyanotic, aside of releasing regular CDs with their own music, they are initiators of putting out interesting CD compilations to promote new and creative bands. Thus after the release of Hordes of The Elite, there's going to be Gears Gone Wild CD put out on 06/24/08. This album features 20 rare and unreleased songs by a variety of bands like Cyanotic, 16volt, Acumen Nation, DJ? Acucrack, Rabbit Junk, Prude, Left Spine Down, Drukore or Infocollapse amongst all.

There's much more of drum'n'bass and aggressive electronics than guitars on the album, however Drukore appeared with a track 'My Control = My Power [Glitch Mode Edit]' where you'll find guitar riffs and that song is my favourite one. Other than that you'll find a spectrum of different tracks like a rhythmic, in a way danceable 'Devastate' by Infocollapse, rowdy 'I Vote Bolshevik Lite' by Rabbit Junk vs. Cyanotic, or 'The Defect People [Glitch Mode Mix]' originally released by 16Volt with an additional remix by Cyanotic where an accent was put on Paul Raven's bassline.

Gears Gone Wild features a song by a new project called Prude which brings a taste of a promising collaboration between the icon of the 90s industrial rock Jared Louche (Chemlab), Sean Payne (Cyanotic), Matt Fanale (Caustic) and Marc Olivier (Plastic Heroes). Moreover, Jared appears twice on this album. 'The Maker' was originally released by Enduser but Jareds made the vocals for this drum'n'bass and experimental remix.

Next, there's Left Spine Down, a rising star of industrial rock from Canada featuring also the two former members of Front Line Assembly - Jeremy Inkel and Jared Slingerland. Their song called ' U Can’t Stop The Bomb' was finally released on Fighting For Voltage CD (2008). Everything Goes Cold – it's another hope for the industrial scene refreshment with great remixing abilities based on the knowledge about the 90s American coldwave and the roots of industrial rock music as well. EGC's debut album 'Prepare To Be Refrigerated' was also released in June 2008.

Besides the bands above, there are others coming up with a variety of different electronic music, full of beats and drum'n'bass for the most part. So there are Torrent Vaccine and MindFlux Funeral in very interesting songs as well as always greatly appreciated Mindless Faith. A lot of drum'n'bass was brought by Acumen Nation and DJ? Acucrack, both tracks are great gifts for their fans. Clubbers should pay attention to the remixes by Breath and Decay, GenCab (Hi Tech Low Life – it's not Die Krupps' song cover!) and Born Into Oblivion. Element DCLXVI and Defragmentation appear with a specific power noise or breakcore content interlaced with a bit of ambient add-ons.

Finally there's an new [or maybe old but discovered these days?] song by Cyanotic called Brutal Deluxe [Demo], what means harsh and glitchy music which Cyanotic has the best feel for. Their fans know what I mean, the others are welcome to learn more about this Chicago based band.
