This Canadian, and sadly non existing band, made it interesting for coldwave music fans mostly, but then released the second album „Stability’s End” filled with remixes of original songs from their „H” album.
The debut album of Anthony Hudson /known as Anthony H/ brings four interesting songs and... a few boring remixes. There are the meaningful tracks (because of arrangements and energy) like „Do It Yourself”, „Sick Mind” and „Infection” but „Not Like Me” reminds me „Ringfinger” by Nine Inch Nails way too much, with the same puerile vibe in the background.
The songs tie up interesting riffs together with cold, deep electronic vibes. „Sick Mind” fits the dancefloors perfectly but „Infection” is flowing easily thanks to trance-like samples cut by guitar riffs.
It always makes me satisfied when I can hear a real human voice than an industrialized synthetic wheezing. Vocals on that album are very interesting and alive with no special effects put on, though it happens sometime to hear a bit of an echo.
The rest of the songs sound more or less like remixes full of themselves, which irritate my ears so I can recommend them only to the remixes freaks. ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz. Must not be used for promotional or commercial purposes. See a Legal Note for the copyrights below)
