Severing The Tie |Avi Ghosh, 2008|

It's a debut album of an American musician Avi Ghosh, known also from the band called Defy, where he features along with Chris Lunsford and Eric Granholm. All of them are young, before 25 y.o., gifted and creative.
The album is full of industrial rock tunes, so if to speak about any NIN influences let's focus only on With Teeth, while Avi enriched the sound with more juicy guitars. My attention was drown mostly by a song Pink Letters, a bit in Collide style, sexy, tempting as well as a dynamic track Narcissistic Design. I do recommend to pay your attention to Don't Count On Me Anymore, definitely an industrial-rock venture, where both electronics and guitars play the main role. It reminds me Filter tracks a bit. The Last Song seems to be more entertaining and dance, very catchy indeed and may be necessary at your music parties. It All Makes Sense To Me sounds like a dedication to NIN with an accent to their The Fragile thanx to fussed guitars, piano and typical for Reznor repetitive lyrics recitation.

Avi Ghosh announced a show on 03/27 (Arkansas, USA), where he was supposed to support The Dreaming, where the leadership was to Christopher Hall (ex-Stabbing Westward). Before that, he played a show on 03/12 on the biggest Texas music festival - SXSW in Austin. Moreover Avi Gosh it's a real name of the leader so should be easy to drag the listener's attention to the project ;)
