Gilt |Atlantic, 1995|

Richest Junkie Still Alive, Kiss Destroyer, Suicide King, Animal Mass, The Soft Collision, Solar Temple, Tryst, Casual Users, Twofold Godhead, Last, Serpico

Guitar driven gloomy sounds. It's closer to Stabbing Westward 'Ungod' album and a bit of (slower) Gravity Kills or Sunna. It's more rock than industrial but I liked such songs like 'Twofold Godhead' and 'Last'. This album should be listened a few times because it's not catchy at all. And that's the point. Gilt was produced by Silvia Massey who worked with such bands like Tool or Babes In Toyland previously. ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz. Must not be used for promotional or commercial purposes. Concentration |Mammoth/Atlantic 1993| !!!

Perfect Tan (Bikini atoll), Butterfly Wings, Lilith/Eve, Albert Speer, Limiter, If U Should Explode, Shake, Cheap, Acceleration, Ancestor Cult, Content, Trigger For Happiness

Obligatory to be listened to!!! It's the best album with industrial rock music what I have listened to for the last 3 years. The music on this album is vibrated, guitar driven, dense, subtle, sexy, tempting in every of its aspect! It can be compared (carefully) to Perversion by Gravity Kills and Ungod by Stabbing Westward, but MOLG made a masterpiece. The album is produced by Roli Mosimann who worked with a variety of bands like The The, Mind Bomb, New Order, Young Gods, Swans and remixed Gravity Kills songs in the past.

There are a collection of amazing songs to start with Perfect Tan, Butterfly Wings and my favourite Lilith/Eve, which sounds very sexy, spicy and the end bassline makes me delightful. Thanx to the vocals 'Limiter' reminds me songs by Stabbing Westward and the cold wave band called Tones On Tail. 'If I should Explode' it's a song to get rested but the next... 'Shake' it's the second great song on this record. That what's going in 02:15 minutes of the song can lead to an orgasm. Cheap, Acceleration and Ancestor Cult are good songs too but not the killers. 'Content' it's a song with MOLG typical vibe but it makes me tired to listen to monotone drum beats. Trigger For Happiness is a greeting to KMFDM music the same like Cheap. It's such a pity the 90's passed over :( ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz. Must not be used for promotional or commercial purposes. See a Legal Note for the copyrights below)
Machines Of Loving Grace |Mammoth/Atlantic, 1991|

Burn Like Brilliant Trash (at jackie's funeral), Cicciolina, Rite of Shiva, Lipstick 66, X-insurrection, Content, Weatherman, Terminal City, Number Nineay, The 4th

It's a bit weaker record in a comparison to Concentration but it doesn't mean it should be omitted. The record begins with Burn Like Brilliant Trash and isn't a knock out, but the song is worked out by Brian Liesegang from Filter and later remixed by Trent Reznor (to find on 'The Tainted Touch of Trent's Carress' bootleg). Next song sounds childlish but it's nice. Rite of Shiva contains the typical MOLG vibe with the tempting vibration, slapping bass, interesting samples and lots of the positive energy. X-Insurrection sounds mysteriously with those keyboards styled for the 80's. Content song reminds me funky music with the female chorus and slapping bass, loving it! :) Terminal City seems to be the anthem for MOLG fans ;) The album is finished by Number Nine which is the ninth song in the tracklist and sounds the same boring as the song title.
It's an interesting issue that most of songs built in a scheme of verse-chorus-verse can make tired after a few rehearsals. I don't know how it works with MOLG but the truth is their music don't make me bored somehow. Maybe it's because their songs are filled up with sounds, there is no empty space, no hole between the lines.
That's cruel that band quit in 2001 and seems like we will never listen to them again in that condition! ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz. Must not be used for promotional or commercial purposes. See a Legal Note for the copyrights below)
