Wayne Static passed away at 48

LA-based Static-X leader Wayne Static was found dead on November 1st, 2014. He was 48. No cause of death is available at the moment but drugs overdose is said to be possible.
The band is called a forerunner of the new wave of industrial metal, alt-metal and nu metal genres which have attracted a lot of fans and followers around the world. The band's line-up included such musicians as Tony Campos (Ministry, Asesino), Tripp Eisen (Dope), Josh Freese (APC, Nine Inch Nails) and Nick Oshiro (Seether) amongst all but Wayne was the only who remained in the band until its break up. Static-X released nine albums, the latest Cult Of Static ‎ in 2009, then the group disbanded. Wayne Static was married to a former alt-porn star Tera Wray.
