We're offered a lot of distortions both for vocals and sampled guitars since the very beginning of the album. Mortal music has its atmosphere and I'd rather compare them to Numb or older stuff of Dismantled than to any industrial metal music.

There's a lot of innovations for improvisations and experimenting with samplers, but I was tired of listening to the same distortions used by a variety of other bands and a general noise in the background of the tracks. Mortal is a band crossing through industrial metal and noise-electro music to me. They don't sound bad but I prefer albums with a huge amount of energy than dark and confusing tunes.
